Conflict of Interest?

Tegna’s WKYC bragged that they landed an exclusive interview with former Cleveland Mayor Mike White, who discusses his endorsement of Cleveland Mayoral candidate Justin Bibb.

The Mayor spoke with WKYC Anchor Leon Bibb.

Wait, back up here…. Mayoral candidate Justin Bibb and WKYC Anchor Leon Bibb.

I wonder if the two are related?

Well, according to this story posted by the Tegna station back in January, the guy running for Mayor is indeed related to the WKYC Anchor.

And yet, here the station is having Leon Bibb interview the former Mayor who is endorsing Mayoral candidate Justin Bibb.

And no one at the station saw any conflict or problem with this?

Any other station group, shit like this would have gotten people suspended or fired.
