Signing Off in the Twin Cities

Longtime KARE Sports Director Eric Perkins says that he is leaving the Tegna station after a quarter of a century

Perkins posted the news to social media, saying in part, “….the time is right for me to find a new path that allows for new opportunities and more time with my family.”

He had been at the station for 25 years. Knowing Tegna, the replacement they hire, won’t even have been alive that long.
