According to KNXV, it started as a Police incident when officers responded to a trespassing call from a homeowner near Arizona Avenue and Frye Road.

When authorities arrived at the home, they found an RV parked that the homeowner said someone was living out of it.

The owner started the RV, crashed through the driveway gate and then drove towards an officer. One officer opened fire with his duty weapon at the vehicle and Serrano fled at high speed on Frye Road towards Dobson Road.

Police said RV driver’s speed and driving behavior caused a multi-vehicle crash involving six vehicles. Officials say six people were injured in the crash and three people, including the RV driver, are in serious condition.

Ramirez and his wife were part of the six that were injured.
