CBS continues to make major changes in their management ranks.

Ever since the Tiffany Network exited Les Moonves as CEO of the company, it seems as if shake ups in the management tree of CBS News has been ongoing.

The latest to leave is CBS Evening News Executive Producer Jay Shaylor.

Shaylor joined CBS News 2019 after jobs at CNN and ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The CBS Evening News continues to be in a distant 3rd place in the nightly news race, a spot that CBS has been in for decades.

As for Shaylor’s departure, CBS released a one line statement, “We thank him for his contributions to the broadcast and for helping develop it into the impactful program it is today.”

The search is on for a replacement.
