Meredith News Director Headed for the Exit

Word is that WSMV News Director Mitch Jacob told the staff at the Meredith station that he’s leaving in July.

Jacob has been at the Music City station about two and a half years. He came to the station after spending 4+ years at Sinclair’s WJLA in DC.

Word is that he said he was leaving the Meredith station for “personal reasons.”

Meredith is in the process of being sold to Gray Television.
