A Photographer from Sinclair’s KOMO was in the back of her news car editing, when a man jumped in the car and drove off.

The Photog was able to escape from the vehicle as the suspect was stealing it.

The unidentified suspect was taken into custody shortly after the vehicle theft, which occurred about 7:45 p.m. while it was parked outside the station at 4th and Broad streets. The KOMO photographer was not hurt during the incident, and the vehicle and its contents were later recovered, station officials said.

The station reports that KOMO Reporter Joel Moreno was outside the vehicle as the Photog (who the station does not name) was in the vehicle's back seat working.

The station reports that Moreno was not hurt during the incident. They did not say anything about Photographer, who was seen on security footage running from the car as it was being stolen by the suspect.

Moreno can not be seen in the footage.
