One Done, One to Go....

Yesterday I went and got my first dose of the COVID vaccine here in Florida.

I arrived early (as I always do to everything) and I was in and out before my scheduled time. The National Guard was running the operation and it was smooth sailing from start to finish.

I received the Pfizer version of the vaccine, although I would have taken whatever they were offering.

I was told that I might feel some soreness the next day as to the shot location in my arm and that is the case. I woke up this morning with a little soreness in my arm, although I have to say “little” is the keyword here. Not bad at all.

I go back in early April for my second shot and then hopefully by the beginning of May I will be immune to the COVID virus.

Of course, I will still be wearing my mask and social distancing as we are suggested to do. But, it is nice to see that light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter and brighter.

I urge all of you, when you are given the chance, don’t delay getting your vaccine. It really was a simple and easy process.

Now, let’s do some news….
