Signing Off in Jax

Longtime Jacksonville Anchor/Reporter Paige Kelton says that she is leaving the WJAX/WFOX after more than two decades at the station.

“After 24 years at Action News Jax, it’s time to start a new chapter in my life and career,” Kelton said in a story posted on the station’s website.

She also posted the news to her social media:

Kelton was the station’s main anchor until 2014 when she was knocked down to the reporter ranks. Of that move, she says, “When my role here changed in 2014, I embraced it. Always with the most important person in mind, you, our viewer. That’s what it’s always been about for me. It’s why as my time in Jacksonville ends, I want to thank you.”

She signs off on March 26th.
