A letter was sent out to the union members at Sinclair’s WJAR (Providence) informing them that the union has filed a grievance against the station, as to how they conducted the layoffs.

It appears that the union believes that there was some “layoff language” agreed to in the contract between the union and that Sinclair ignored it.

According to the memo, the union expects that Sinclair will “deny the grievance” and the union will then look into legal action.

Here is the memo, obtained by FTVLive. Some names have been redacted.
