COVID Cases Hit DC Stations

Sources tell FTVLive that a number of news staffers at Sinclair’s WJLA in DC are out of work with COVID.

One insider tells FTVLive that they feel that management is not doing enough to keep employees informed on what is happening?

“We are finding out about COVID in the workplace through the grapevine and not from management,” said one station insider.

Over at Fox owned WTTG, at least two Anchors at the station have contracted COVID.

"It hit me like a freight train late Saturday night, early Sunday morning I started having symptoms and they came on really strong," said Tucker Barnes of WTTG.

Anchor Jeanette Reyes says she tested positive for the virus but does not appear to have any symptoms.

Reyes is married to WJLA Anchor Robert Burton.
