Anchor Opens Up About Being Sexually Assaulted by a Coworker

Yesterday, in a Patron Only story, FTVLive told you how WGRZ (Buffalo) Sports Anchor/Reporter Julianne Pelusi said that she was sexually assaulted while working at a TV station, before coming to Buffalo.

Pelusi decided to open up on social media about an incident that she claims happened to her at a previous station.

Although, Pelusi did not name the person or the station, she worked at WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio just piror to moving to Buffalo.

She also added this post:

A WTOV staffer contacted FTVLive and said that they know who Pelusi is referring to and they also know of incidents at the station involving this person.

What bothers that staffer and Pelusi is that “Ryan” is still employed at the same company and appears to work without any accountability for his actions.

Pelusi felt she needed to speak up.

“It was painful and terrifying but necessary,” she told FTVLive.

According to Pelusi’s post, this wasn’t the only inappropriate incident “Ryan” did at the station. The WTOV staffer that contacted FTVLive says confirms that as well.

As for “Ryan”?

He might now be a bit uncomfortable seeing that some of his actions are coming to light and might be a bit scared.

I guess for “Ryan” he is just now starting to feel how his coworkers felt when he was acting inappropriately.

Doesn’t feel so good, does it, “Ryan”?

It took guts for Pelusi to step out and speak out as to the pain this guy put upon her. FTVLive commends her for doing so.
