BriWi to Say Goodbye
/MSNBC host Brian Williams announced that he is leaving NBC after nearly 30 years at the network.
Williams said it was not a retirement and that he was going to start a new chapter.
Williams spent years at MSNBC and NBC News, before he was elevated to the main Anchor of NBC Nightly News, replacing Tom Brokaw.
But, Williams was pulled from the air and eventually demoted back to MSNBC after he was called out for conflating stories and some who claim all out making some up.
Most expected that Williams would lose his job after he was taken off the anchor desk at NBC Nightly News, but he did not.
BriWi was pushed back to MSNBC where he stayed for 5 years and will remain for a few weeks more before he leaves.
Could Williams be headed to the CBS Evening News?
Let the rumors begin.
Here is his announcement about leaving the Peacock.

MSNBC’s Katy Tur posted her thanks to Williams following his announcement.
Brian Williams gave me my first break at NBC News and then championed me for years. Yes he’s a great broadcaster but more importantly he’s a good dude. He’s also very funny. I hope whatever is next includes golden technical miscues like this one https://t.co/6tZn8nLfxc
