Tegna’s WKYC (Cleveland) has hired a new Weather Anchor.

The station announced that Matthew Standridge has joined the station as the new weekend evening meteorologist.

In making the announcement that Tegna station said that Sanfridge “comes to Cleveland from our Tegna affiliate in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he worked on the morning show with a forecast known as “Arkansas Adventures.””

And then WKYC added this, “You may have even seen some of his hit TikTok videos, several of which have racked up more than one million views.”

Yep, it seems that your TikTok views are not part of your resume these days.
