Anchor Following News Director Out the Door

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that KHOU News Director Sally Ramirez was going to be leaving the Tegna station later this Summer.

The station is also losing their 4PM Anchor Russ Lewis.

Lewis is married to Ramirez and has told management that he plans on retiring when his contract comes up at the end of August.

Lewis followed Ramirez from the Tegna station in Portland to Texas and plans on returning to Oregon to work in his family’s business.

The Tegna station is now searching for News Director and an Anchor.
