Do Better....

On Monday, in a Patron Only story FTVLive showed you an internal memo from Sinclair CEO Chris Ripley.

In the memo, he says that “Diversity is the core tenant (sic) at Sinclair and what we seek to accomplish every day.”

As we pointed out, it is easy to talk a good game but actions are another issue.

For an example, let’s take a look at the on-air staff at Sinclair’s WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio. Looking at their meet the team page, you will notice that the only black face on the page is for the station’s mascot.

Maybe it is time Chris Ripley and Sinclair stop talking and start making things right.
