Not Even a Thank You from Nexstar's Nashville Station

At 6:00AM on April 1st, FTVLive posted a story and gave said that stations in either Indianapolis or Nashville might want to cover it.

A kid that we have followed on YouTube for the past couple of years got the coronavirus while studying aboard in Spain. His name is Elliot Choy and he is from Indiana and attends Vanderbilt in Nashville.

His story about getting COVID-19 and then making his way back to the states was an interesting one and so we thought we would throw it out there for TV stations as a possible story idea.

Nexstar’s WKRN did do a story on Choy on their 10PM newscast on April 1st.

Now, you would have thought that the station or Eric Egan the Reporter on the story would have emailed or tweeted FTVLive and said “thanks for the tip”, but nope.

Not only is FTVLive working 15 hour plus days, every day for 5 years straight without a day off, we are also giving you guys story ideas to cover.

Is it that hard to say “Thank You”?

Then again, TV stations have been stealing stories out of the newspaper for years and have never thanked them either.

This is the link to the FTVLive story and the WKRN story is posted below:
