It Was Fake News

Valley News Live (Fargo) says that someone used their logo in an April Fools joke.

A guy used the VNL logo and posted a fake news story online.

The story refers to the Governor of North Dakota saying that students will have to retake the same grade level next year because of what's happened with coronavirus.

The man who created the now viral fake post contacted VNL to apologize and let us know he has deleted the original post.

He says the post was meant as a joke for his kids and he is sorry for the situation it caused.
