Tegna’s WKYC hired a new talent that just moved to Cleveland to work at the station.

WKYC took 2 1/2 minutes of their newscast to talk about how Laura Caso had to move across three whole states in the midst of the coronavirus.

They acted as if she drove through a hurricane and a blizzard combined to make it to WKYC.

First off, driving in your car on the highway means you are practicing social distancing without even trying. The traffic is light since most businesses are closed and people are staying home. And, gas prices are cheap as hell since the economy is tanking.

WKYC acted like this was a heroic move when it seems to us to be almost a perfect time to make that trek.

Yet, the station took up 2 1/2 minutes of the newscast to another edition of all about me TV.
