Isn't That Backwards?

WBKO (Bowling Green) Reporter Kaley Skaggs is competing in the Miss Kentucky USA pageant this weekend.

The station writes, “Kaley is a hometown girl representing the area as Miss Brownsville.”

I always thought you went into the beauty pageant to help you land a job in TV news. But, Skaggs already has a job in TV news.
