Signing Off in Albany

WTEN (Albany) Feature Reporter Ben Ryan is leaving the Nexstar station in a couple of weeks and headed South.

The internal memo went out to the staff from News Director Ryan Mott and was obtained by FTVLive. It did not say where Ryan is headed:

Team,

As we come to the close of 2020, I must inform you that our spirited morning reporter Ben Ryan will be moving on from this time here at WTEN.

Over the past two years Ben has grown into an engaging story teller doing everything from Ninja Camps to feed the Hungry campaigns.

Ben has worn several hats ranging from feature news to breaking news.

He quickly became a staple of the morning show and we will certainly miss his energy and enthusiasm.

Ben is heading south to continue his storytelling journey.

Please join me in thanking Ben for his dedication to the team and wishing him well in his next endeavor.

Ben’s last day is December 23rd.
