Brown says that spending more time with her kids during the pandemic, showed her that this is where she wanted to be.

Brown joined WRAL in 2014 as a weekend anchor/reporter, coming from WCBS, she started anchoring at the station in 2017.

If you were thinking about applying for her gig, we have some bad news for you. While the station announced that Brown was leaving, they also announced her replacement.

Lena Tillett is promoted, beginning Nov. 30th, where she will anchor WRAL News at 4, 5:30 and 10 p.m. alongside Gerald Owens.

Here’s Brown talking about leaving the station.
