VP of Something at Sinclair

Back on August 1st, FTVLive told you that Sinclair was making a change in the GM’s office at their flagship station WJLA.

WJLA General Manager Dan Mellon was leaving his position after 5 years and moving to another gig in the company.

Many inside WJLA tell FTVLive that Mellon was responsible for driving WJLA in ground and the station’s news ratings are in the toilet.

Now, word is that Mellon’s new job at Sinclair will be the new VP of Sales Transformation.

Not sure what they job is, but in a bullet point on social media Mellon says his job will be to, ""Create A Winning Culture" within the station and local market.
