We Agree with Trump (Sort Of)

Donald Trump sent out this tweet in regards to the mass shootings over the weekend:

FTVLive agrees with Trump that the media a big responsibility to the life and safety of the country.

But when Trump says, “Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over the years.” He needs to change the words “Fake News” to Cable News” and then he is 100% right.

FTVLive has said it before and we stand by it, nobody has down more to divide this country than cable news. Yes you can blame Trump and you should. Same with the GOP and the Democrats, but cable news is the outlet that comes into people’s homes on a daily basis and preaches hate.

People like Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Brian Stelter and others are all to blame for the divide and sheer hate we see in this country.

Cable news has not only divided this country, they have given Journalism such a black eye that it might never recover.

We agree with Trump that news coverage has got to start being fair and unbiased, although I think his definition and ours is much different.

But, of all the tweets that Trump has sent out, this is one that he and I are almost on the same page.

As for those that are working in cable news, before you put your head on the pillow tonight, ask yourself are you really making this country a better place to live.

I think you those and others listed above really look deeply into what they are doing, they should have a very hard time getting to sleep.
