Meeting The Enemy Coming Back From AAJA

My favorite story from AAJA last week in Atlanta, did not happen in Atlanta.
It happened 182 miles south in Tifton, Ga.
I had stopped the Telsa to charge for a few minutes at at SuperCharger located just off I-75. I plugged in my car and headed to the Starbucks nearby to get an ice tea.
I place my order and was sitting at a table waiting, while answering some email on my phone.
I was wearing my FTVLive T-Shirt that that says on the back, “I’m a Journalist Not the enemy.”
An older guy that was carrying a baby, comes up tp me and asks me, “Are you a Journalist?”
I told him I was and he said, “Well I think your shirt right there proves that President Trump is right.”
I replied, “Ummmm….OK whatever.”
He then says, “Well are you the enemy?”
Me: “No I’m not the enemy”
Old guy: “Well that proves you are, because if you weren’t you would not have said anything and remained neutral.”
Me; “That makes no sense what-so-ever.”
Old Guy: “It proves that Mr. Trump is right and you are the enemy.”
Me: “Are you a baby raper?”
Old guy: “NO SIR I”M NOT!”
Me; “Well since you answered, it proves that you are.”
The old guy just turned and walked away. But since this is southern Georgia, I thought he might be going to get his gun. So, I grabbed my ice tea and hightailed it out of there.
Thank God Elon Musk makes very fast cars.
The good news, the next charge station I stopped at was in Florida and a older lady in line behind me as I was buying a drink said, “ I love your shirt!”
