Signing Off in Seattle

KCPQ (Seattle) Anchor Marni Hughes says that she is leaving the station to….say it with me…. spend more time with her family.

Hughes made the announcement this week and it appears that she really is leaving to spend more time with her family.

Either that, or getting out before Nexstar (or Fox) takeover.

Hughes is one of the good people in this business and it is always sad when the good ones leave.

Her last day is September 11th.
