Cox Boss to Stay in Charge

It was expected to happen, but now it is official.

The Cox stations are being acquired by Apollo, but current Cox boss Kim Guthrie will continue to lead the company after the deal goes through.

This is good news for everyone working at a Cox station as it means that while the company changes hands, the boss will remain the same.

It is still not certain what Apollo will be like as an owner? Will they cut spending? Reduce staff? Or will they dump more money into the operations?

Anytime a station is sold, there are questions about the future. But, knowing that the big boss is staying on with the new company is good news indeed.
