Tegan’s KHOU got in some hot water after the station violated a court order last week by livestreaming audio of testimony and possibly confidential attorney conversations.

It is in the case of David Temple, who is being retried in connection with the 1999 slaying of his wife.

The defense asked the judge to declare a mistrial after KHOU violated the court order and streamed the audio.

The judge ruled that he would not declare a mistrial, since it was likely that the jury didn’t hear the livestream.

No word if the judge took action against the Tegna station for violating the court order?
