Out the Door in Tucson

Back in May of 2017 while writing about a couple staffers leaving KOLD in Tucson, FTVLive finished our story by saying this, “FTVLive's favorite Tucson Reporter Janice Yu remains at the station. But, one can wonder for how long before she is snatched up by a bigger market?”

Well that time is now.

Here is the memo that went out to the staff and was obtained by FTVLive:

When it rains, it pours. Janice Yu is also leaving KOLD. Janice has been a key player in our newsroom for many years and she will be extremely difficult to replace. Janice’s flexibility and do-anything attitude is what makes her a valuable member of our team and her next team will be extremely lucky to have her. I will leave it up to Janice to discuss her next move, but please join me in thanking Janice for all the work she has done in Tucson and for us. Her last day has yet to be determined.
