Missing the Target

As you may or may not know, Target had a mess on their hands for a couple of hours over the weekend.

The retail giant’s registers went down from coast to coast and they were not able to process payments. Many on Twitter praised the way the employees at the stores handled the massive outage.

It was not the frontline employee’s faults and many of these near minimum wage workers did the best they could in a bad situation.

But, there were some that could not let the technical glitch go without making a stink.

WJAR (Providence) host Meaghan Mooney was one of those:

A number of viewers took issue with Mooney and her it’s all about me attitude:

After the backlash, Mooney deleted her tweet.

FTVLive was also it Target at the time and we also were not able to cash out. We took our items back to the shelves in which we got them, because we figured the last thing these employees needed to worry about was putting all our stuff back.

We weren’t exactly pleased, but we also knew that it was not one person in that Target’s fault.

We drove across the street to Walmart, bought what we needed and went on with our day. AND…we did all this without sending a single tweet.

Today, it is likely we will be back at Target buying some cat and dog food, because let’s be honest, the people that go to Walmart are just plain creepy.
