Throwing Shade in Seattle

The Northwest Emmys were held on Saturday night and since you guys know how I feel about the Emmys, I will not list the winners. One reason, I will get carpal tunnel typing out the long list.

But, I do want to bring up something that one winner said after winning the Emmy.

KING Chief Investigative Reporter Susannah Frame won and award and she used her speech to throw a bit of shade at Sinclair’s KOMO.

KOMO shuttered their I-Team back in 2017 and Frame called them out and thinks that Sinclair needs to bring it back.

She said that all stations need to have an investigative team and KOMO needs to bring theirs back. Needless to say, it was a bit awkward for the KOMO people in the room.
