Sorry to Say We Are Not Sorry

Angry viewers blasted WSET (Lynchburg, VA) after the station cut into the NBA game to tell viewers about a tornado warning in the area.

After getting the angry calls, WSET Meteorologist George Flickinger went on the air and said that the station was NOT going to apologize for warning viewers to the severe weather.

Former Tulsa meteorologist who know works in Virginia, George Flickinger doesn't apologize for having a split screen on a basketball game because of severe weather. Flickinger was fired from his Tulsa job for breaking into broadcast and not waiting for commercial to inform viewers of dangerous wildfires.
