Texas Sports Director Arrested in Prostitution Sting

Talk about starting the Feb book with a bang.

Tegna’s KBMT in Beaumont has fired their Sports Director after he was busted in a Prostitution sting.

Police busted KBMT Sports Director Lance Edwards about 5PM last Thursday, charging him with solicitation.

KBMT General Manager Paul Bergen says that Edwards was terminated after his arrest. Bergen declined to elaborate more on the circumstances.

Cops clamped the cuffs Edwards as they were conducting a prostitution sting at an Econolodge.

Edwards was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
