Fox News anchor Heather Nauert left the network to become the spokesperson for The State Department.
President Trump then said that Nauert was his choice to become the UN ambassador, replacing Nikki Haley.
But now, Nauert says she is withdrawing from consideration as the nominee to be ambassador to the United Nations after it was revealed she had in the past employed an immigrant nanny who was in the US legally but wasn’t authorized to work in the US.
Nauert said this, but never mentioned about hiring the illeagal nanny, “I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary Pompeo for the trust they placed in me for considering me for the position of US Ambassador to the United Nations,” Nauert said in the statement.
“However, the past two months have been gruelling for my family and therefore it is in the best interest of my family that I withdraw my name from consideration.”
No word if she is trying to go back to Fox News or if Fox has hired her former nanny to look over Sean Hannity?
