WACH (Columbia, SC) morning meteorologist Marina Neuman will be taking some time off in the November book to travel to Charleston.

Neuman will be competing in the Miss South Carolina pageant.

Years ago, WACH had hired former Miss South Carolina winner Bree Boyce to anchor their newscasts.

It did not work out well and Boyce left the station in 2014.

But maybe Neuman could win the crown and put another Miss South Carolina back on the payroll.
