Florida MMJ is Attacked While Working on a Story

Just another reason why TV stations should put the staff safety over saving a few bucks.

WBBH (Ft. Myers) MMJ Delia D'Ambra was working on a story in broad daylight in North Ft. Myers.

A man wearing gloves approached her and grabs both her and her camera and knocks her to the ground, breaking the camera in the process.

“He comes and grabs everything, shakes me and pushes me back," D'Ambra said. "And as we're going down, he holds onto the viewfinder and pulls that down and breaks it."

D'Ambra rolled on the attack, but it happened so close to the lens that you can see very much. She called police and the man was arrested.

Of course, the station turned it all into a story for viewers. But, it should be another example as to why stations should not send out single MMJ news crews.

Then again, it’s cheaper to send out one person than two.

Safety be damned.
