Fox News Reporter Catherine Herridge is making the leap across the street to CBS News.

Herridge had been with Fox News since it first started.

CNN is playing up Herridge’s leaving as a “major defection.”

Or maybe it shows that cable news people are willing to leave first place cable stations for last place broadcast stations because it is a better opportunity.
