Shep to CNN?

While Jeff Zucker was smacking the softball questions from Brian Stelter, he did say that he would be interested in hiring former Fox News Anchor Shepard Smith.

Zucker said that Smith is a “great journalist” and “truth-teller” who had no place peddling conspiracy theories on “state-run TV.”

“I think Shep’s a great journalist,” Mr. Zucker answered. “When he’s available, he is somebody who I think is incredibly talented and I would be very open to talking to him.”

Hmmmm? It sounds like Zucker and Smith’s agents might have already had a few “off the record” conversations.
