Columbus Weatherman is Indicted on Child Porn Charges

WBNS (Columbus) Chief Meteorologist Mike Davis has now been formally indicted on child porn charges.

After his arrest, the Tegna station parted ways with Davis.

Davis is now charged with two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, and one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor.

All of the counts are felonies.

Last month, investigators seized computers and other electronic devices from Davis’ home and from WBNS.

Davis reportedly had a “significant” amount of images but prosecutors focused on the four most egregious for the criminal charges.

If convicted, Davis could be sentenced to more than 25 years in prison.
