Backing the Bus Over Matt Lauer

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that a former NBC employee claims that Matt Lauer raped her while the two worked together.

Former NBC staffer Brooke Nevils makes the claim in Ronan Farrow’s new book “Catch and Kill,” which will hit store shelves next week.

Nevils alleges that at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Lauer anally raped her in his hotel room.

Lauer penned an open letter denying the charges and saying that he is no longer going to be staying silent on the matter.

Yesterday, Lauer’s former co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb did not pull any punches while talking about the claims on air:
