As we’ve shown on many occaisions, TEGNA is doing everything possible to eliminate local news. In keeping with their new propensity to hire comedians, the latest comes in San Diego.

TEGNA’s Variety Hits 100.7 has hired Meryl Klemow to join the Cantore Show. Klemow is a comedy writer and podcast co-host.

If TEGNA stays true to form, Klemow could soon become a news anchor on KFMB-TV.
