Punked?

Both CNN and MSNBC were licking their chops when infamous lawyer Michael Avenatti said that he represented another woman who is planning to come forward soon with allegations of sexual misconduct by Brett Kavanaugh.

But now Avenatti says his witness might not testify and many are saying that Avenatti was fooled by a prank that was set up by a couple.

It has turned into quite an embarrassment for Avenatti, who has now locked his Twitter account and CNN and MSNBC.

A man posted this and claimed how he and his girlfriend fooled Avenatti into beliveing that she was a another victim of the Supreme Court nominee.

If this is true, who was willing to pay the woman money. Was it Avenatti or CNN that was ready to dish out the dollars for the “exclusive”?

Avenatti went on CNN and promoted the fact that he had another woman about to come forward.

So was the Stormy Daniels attorney punked?

Avenatti says no, “I made the determination she was 100 percent credible well before Sunday night,” Avenatti, the attorney who also represents the adult-film actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuit against President Donald Trump, told POLITICO, referring to the first time he disclosed the allegations involving Kavanaugh. “We’ve received over 3,000 inquiries in the last six months from people with all kinds of crazy stories and fabrications. I’ve heard it all. I’ve seen it all. Like we don’t vet clients. Give me a break.”

Before he locked his Twitter account, he started hedging a bit if the woman would come forward.

So, was he scammed and took CNN and MSNBC along for the ride?

Or does he have a credible witness willing to testify?

Time will tell.
