She's Back

Meteorologist Emily Roehler has a new job but it is in a familiar place.

Nexstar’s KXRM (Colorado Springs) announced that they have hired Roehler as the station’s evening Weather Anchor.

"Emily brings a unique weather knowledge to FOX21, having already served in the Colorado Springs-Pueblo market previously with KKTV," KXRM News Director Joe Cole said.

Roehler spent four years at KKTV before moving to Denver, where she forecast the weather across the country.

"Emily continues to strengthen the knowledge and presentation skills of the FOX21 Storm Team and the commitment we have to the people of southern Colorado," FOX21 Chief Meteorologist Matt Meister said. "Emily broadcasts with a smooth, comfortable and conversational delivery."

Meteorologist Maddie Kirker will continue to work the weekday evening shift until Roehler makes her on-air debut in early October.
