Gayle King: CBS Should Show Us the Moonves Report

CBS has kicked CEO Les Moonves to the curb and are now investigating the disturbing allegations against him.

On the CBS Morning News, host Gayle King thinks that CBS needs to share the results of that investigation when it is finished.

I have a feeling that is wishful thinking on King’s part.

Fox News never shared the results of the investigation into Roger Ailes. NBC never shared the findings on Matt Lauer and you can bet that CBS won’t do so on Moonves.

Media companies do a good job at digging into other people’s problems, but when it comes to themselves, it is all swept under the rug.

Here’s what King had to say:

"CBS This Morning" co-host Gayle King responds after CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves was forced to resign on Sunday amid new sexual misconduct claims. We may never know exactly what CBS is able to discover about Moonves' behavior because in his separation agreement, the company agreed to keep the investigation into the allegations confidential.
