FTVLive Patrons learned in an exclusive post last week that the suits from Fox have been spotted inside the Tribune stations looking around.

Word is that Fox is very interested in a number of the Tribune stations and while they were planning on buying some stations from Sinclair, after the deal went through, they are now looking to buy them directly.

Yesterday, Tribune announced that they have renewed affiliation deals with Fox for KCPQ in Seattle, KDVR in Denver, WJW in Cleveland, KTVI in St. Louis, WDAF in Kansas City, KSTU in Salt Lake City, WITI in Milwaukee and WGHP in Greensboro, N.C.

Fox is said to be interested in buying a number of those stations from Tribune. Fox is keenly interested in markets that have NFL football.
