There is some good news and some bad news for WISN 12 News weekend evening anchor Adrienne Pedersen.

The good news? She's getting off the weekend shift.

The bad news? She is going to have to set her alarm clock awfully early.

The Hearst station announced that Pedersen is joining Sheldon Dutes on the station's morning newscast.

“Adrienne is well-known to our viewers from her reporting and weekend anchor roles and will be a great addition to ‘12 News This Morning,’” says Jan Wade, WISN president and general manager. She adds, “We already know she and Sheldon work exceptionally well together. We’re excited to have them co-anchoring again.”

Pedersen moves to weekday mornings from weekend evenings, where she has anchored since her arrival to WISN in August of 2016.

She came to the station from WFLA (Tampa).
