Back in Studio

Yesterday, FTVLive told you how WNYW (New York) Fox 5 had to scrap their newscasts on Tuesday evening after the station suffered a technical malfunction, losing computers and phone service at the station.

On a day when Paul Manafort was found guilty and Michael Cohen plead guilty, Fox 5 was airing a canned real estate show, instead of a newscast.

The problem spilled over into yesterday, with the station doing their morning newscast from a set at Fox News.

Finally, over 24 hours later, Fox 5 was doing the evening newscasts from their studio once again.

The station is not saying what knocked them off the air, but insiders believe it is related to the long going construction taking place inside the station and newsroom.

People say that debris is falling from the ceiling and dust is everywhere. One insider tells FTVLive that a large pipe fell threw the ceiling and landed near a copy machine.

A number of employees have claimed that the construction is making them sick.

Yesterday, the union that reps many of those working in the Fox 5 newsroom, sent out this memo, obtained by FTVLive:
