Shuffling Off in Buffalo

As FTVLive told told, Tegna owned WGRZ in Buffalo pushed out their longtime weatherman Kevin O'Connell.

O'Connell has been at the station for 25 years and was one of the highest paid people at the station. His contract was coming up this month and negotiations are believed to have ended shortly afterO'Connell testified in a case for a law firm he had endorsed on the firm's website.

The station said it violated the company policy and it appears that they used that to push the weatherman to the exit.

The station did let O'Connell say goodbye, but there was no way Tegna was going to let him don this live. So after decades on the air in Buffalo, he had to say his last goodbye on video.

Is this is a great business or what?
