Breaking! Phoenix GM to Step Down

Breaking at 1:32PM Eastern Time. 

This one is going down right now, KPHO/KTVK General Manger Ed Munson has announced his retirement from the Meredith station less than 2 minutes ago. 

Munson has been with KPHO since 2008, coming the VP of sales for LIN TV Corp. LIN.

Munson is also the former GM at  WAVY in Norfolk. 

He has been with KPHO almost exactly 10 years. 

No set departure date as of yet and a search is one for his replacement.
