I Can't Produce News Today, I have Homework

As TV stations look to hire younger and cheaper talent, it used to be that they hired kids fresh out of school.

Now, it appears they are hiring kids still in school.

WTNH (New Haven) did a story about one of their Producers that took a few hours off of work to graduate from Quinnipiac University.

Ayah Galal  graduated with honors from Quinnipiac's School of Communications.

She was a journalism and political science double major who was also awarded the Alumni Association's Academic Achievement Award for "being the student with the highest scholastic standing in the School of Communications."

Now, she heads back to her lower paying job in TV news and ponders how to pay off her student loans.

It's this a great business or what?
