Sinclair's White Out in San Antonio

Speaking of Sinclair, while they continue to insist their stations focus on their communities, someone needs to send corporate VP of News Scott Livingston, some demographic data.

A little more than a year ago, this was WOAI's primary anchor team:  Don Harris, Randy Beamer, Evy Ramos and Albert Flores.

For those of you that aren't familiar with the San Antonio DMA, in 2016 the city alone, was 64% Hispanic. Given that information, it could be said that the above anchor team reflected the community it serves, right? Apparently, not in Sinclair's opinion. They got rid of popular anchor Evy Ramos and recently parted ways with chief meteorologist Albert Flores, who had been in the market for 30 years. Who did they replace them with? You guessed it, white anchors. The team is now: Randy Beamer, Don Harris, Delaine Mathieu and newly hired chief meteorologist Chris Suchan.

As FTVLive previously reported, Randy Beamer has been the primary anchor for about 25 years and for 25 years, the station has been in last place.  So instead of Sinclair doing 'research' on what they should force their anchors to say in promos, maybe they should spend some of that money figuring out why viewers in San Antonio consistently reject their product?
